Billing & Refund Policy
Our billing cycles, payment methods, refunds and support
Last updated: September 29, 2025
1. Overview
This Billing & Refund Policy explains billing cycles, payment methods, trials, cancellations, refunds, proration, taxes, invoices, chargebacks, and billing support for Stackado.
2. Billing cycles & renewal
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual), unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Renewal charges are billed to your chosen payment method on file. You are responsible for keeping payment information up to date.
- We may change pricing for future billing cycles; existing paid periods are not affected. We will provide notice of material price changes.
3. Payment methods & processors
- Payments are processed by third-party processors (for example, Stripe, PayPal, or similar). We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- By providing a payment method you authorize us (and our processors) to charge recurring fees. We may change processors and will update this page when we do.
4. Trial terms & auto-conversion
- If you enroll in a free trial, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- You must cancel before the trial expiry to avoid the first billing. We will attempt to remind you before auto-conversion.
5. Cancellation procedure & timing
- You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting hello@stackado.com.
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Access to paid features will continue until the paid period expires unless we notify you otherwise.
6. Refund eligibility & process
- All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our sole discretion.
- For exceptional cases (e.g., demonstrable service failure), you may request a refund by emailing hello@stackado.com within 30 days of the charge. We will review and respond within 14 business days. Issued refunds will be returned to the original payment method where possible.
7. Proration
- By default, we do not provide proration credits for mid-period cancellations or plan downgrades. Proration or partial credits may be provided only at our discretion.
8. Taxes & invoicing
- You are responsible for all applicable taxes (sales, VAT, GST, etc.) associated with your purchases, unless we explicitly state otherwise.
- Receipts are provided by email after each payment. Invoices can be provided on request for paid plans; contact hello@stackado.com to request invoicing.
9. Chargebacks & disputes
- If you dispute a charge with your card issuer, please also contact hello@stackado.com immediately so we can investigate. Repeated or fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension and recovery actions.
- We reserve the right to respond to chargeback claims with evidence of service delivery and authorization.
10. Billing support & response timeframe
- For billing questions, refunds, invoices or charge disputes contact: hello@stackado.com.
- We aim to acknowledge all billing inquiries within 48 business hours and resolve straightforward issues within 7 business days. Complex disputes may take longer and we will keep you informed.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
